  1. Spread out your calorie intake during long runs. Most people pop gel packs once every 40 minutes or so, and get an insulin spike and then hit the wall. It is better to eat 30 calories worth of sport jelly beans every mile. Get the sugar into you system and never hit the wall.I bought this because it was the cheapest on Amazon for a 24 pack.They have just the right amount of caffeine for me.The taste isn’t great.
