  1. good basic trainer, similar to Venture5 General purpose athletic shoes that are a comfortable height and width, competitively priced.ASICS are my go-to general purpose athletic shoe. but I tend to walk in them rather then run. For reasonably priced shoes, they hold up well; my old pair of Gel-Venture 4’s has held up to three years of regular light use. They’re starting to look worn and a couple of thread-ends are coming out of the stitching, but I’ve done literally nothing to keep them in good condition, and they still…
